About Mike Seil
Mike Seil is an active clinician, soloist, composer, pianist and arranger. He is currently the Director of Choral Activities at Legacy High School in Bismarck, ND. Mike Seil is a 1995 graduate of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, studying under Dr. James Rodde. He is married to Sheri (Schwindt) Seil. They have a son (Harrison) and a daughter (Addison).
Mike Seil has been writing songs since he was 10 years old. He was a member of the band, How Far North, from 1991-2000. During that time, How Far North was one of the most popular rock bands in our region. Their debut CD, Frozen Solid, was released in 1996. How Far North was in the process of recording their second offering, Thanks for Noticing, when they disbanded. Mike currently plays with Led Knoephla, a band consisting of local educators.
